Job Description
Trio Surfaces is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Operator to join our innovative and growing team. The CNC Operator is a crucial link in our fabrication process, responsible for operating, programming, and maintaining our CNC equipment to cut, shape, and finish stone and other surface materials with high precision. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and a deep understanding of manufacturing safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Machine Operation and Programming: Set up and operate multi-axis CNC machines and equipment, including sawjets, routers, and mills, to perform various fabrication tasks such as cutting, drilling, and polishing.
Blueprint and Digital Interpretation: Read and accurately interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and digital templates to determine project specifications and programming requirements.
Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure they meet specified dimensions and quality standards.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Perform routine machine assessments and preventative maintenance, including calibration and lubrication. Troubleshoot and resolve any machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining issues.
Material Handling: Safely handle, load, and unload heavy stone slabs (up to 50 lbs or with assistance for heavier loads) onto and off of the CNC equipment.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all company safety procedures and regulations, ensuring a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Documentation: Accurately complete production logs, quality documentation, and maintenance records.
Qualifications
Experience: 3+ years of experience in stone fabrication or a related industrial field, with direct experience operating CNC machinery. Experience with specific stone cutting machines (e.g., Park Industries CNC Sawjets) is highly preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading technical drawings and using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers). Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and G&M programming codes is a plus.
Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills to effectively set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment.
Attention to Detail: Meticulous and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for precise cuts and quality finishes.
Work Ethic: Ability to work independently and as part of a team to meet tight production deadlines.
Requirements: Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
