Structural Steel Welder – WABO Certified
Location: Kent, WA
Pay: $24/hr and up, depending on experience and capabilities
Hours: Full-time, 40+ hours/week
Shift: Early morning start times
Superior Steel and Ironworkers Inc. is a well-established fabricator and erector of structural steel, serving the Seattle area since 2006. We are currently hiring WABO Certified Welders to join our fabrication team at our Kent, WA shop.
We’re looking for reliable individuals who show up on time, take pride in what they do, and are ready to contribute to a fast-paced, no-nonsense environment. If you have strong welding skills and can read blueprints—or are willing to learn—we want to talk to you.

Reliability – Show up on time, ready to work, every day.
WABO Certification – Must be current or able to certify immediately.
Blueprint Reading – Ability to read and interpret shop drawings is important. We’re willing to train the right candidate.
Strong Work Ethic – Attention to detail, commitment to doing the job right, and pride in your craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Weld structural steel components per WABO-approved procedures
Work from shop drawings and blueprints
Assist with layout, fit-up, and fabrication as needed
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a structural steel fabrication shop
Familiarity with FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW welding processes
