Sarge's Veteran Support is a nonprofit serving the Veterans of the Olympic Peninsula. We are opening a 6-bedroom permanent housing project in Sequim called "LtCol James Minsky Place". The Case Manager will be a full time employee (who does not live onsite).
The LtCol James Minsky Place Case Manager provides information, referrals; makes decisions and acts on behalf of the client, coordinating services and advocacy for those elderly Veterans who need permanent housing to include (but not limited to): health care, financial help, referrals for caregiving, all to aid with the client’s quality of life. They are responsible for developing strategies for engaging with clients, creating awareness about the program in the community and performing outreach within the community aiding our Executive Director with referrals to our agency’s shelter and permanent supportive housing programs. The Case Manager coordinates and initiates services with other public and private agencies providing services to the Veterans within our community.
