Northwest Center is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our Building Services Contracts!

The Maintenance Supervisor will build and oversee teams of building services staff, on multiple sites and act as a point of contact for customers and clients.

Compensation: $33 to $36.74 per hour

Location: Multiple Locations (Puget Sound)

Schedule: M-F, 8 am - 4 pm

Essential Duties:

Contract Supervision:

Supervise teams of Maintenance Repair Workers on multiple contract sites throughout the Puget Sound

Assign service orders to other Maintenance Repair Technicians when needed.

Schedule, organize, and handle post-completion follow-up of service order requests from customers and NWC properties or business entities.

Manage the complete inventory of maintenance team equipment including tools, vehicles, trailers, equipment, etc.

Assist the sales team by providing customer walks and visits to help determine the bid worthiness of the potential business and cross-selling other maintenance services.

Record and file all purchases of supplies and ensuring proper cost allocation.

Assess the safety locations where services will be performed and ensuring that our employees are only working in safe and secure environments.

Maintenance Work

Construction work, including rough and finish carpentry, drywall installation and finishing, interior and exterior painting, wallboard repair, ceiling and floor tile installation, and similar duties performing basic repairs and minor fixes.

High lift work when contract requires - we provide certification

Installation of appliances and equipment.

Maintain clean workspace and complete post-project cleaning.

Performing light groundskeeping duties and maintaining the site's exterior, including but not limited to snow removal, ice removal, and power washing.

Light electrical work, primarily changing light bulbs and fixtures.

Light plumbing work, including installing/replacing sink, faucet, and toilet components, unclogging drains and pipes, and similar duties.

Perform furniture assembly, moving, and repair.

Ensure the trash facility is kept up, taking dumpsters to the proper location on set dates and times.

Maintain parking lot, including painting if needed.

Building repair and maintenance, including exterior inspection and repair, providing preventative maintenance

Perform any other associated duties as assigned.

Requirements:

5+ years in Facility Maintenance & or Building Trades.

Proficient in two or more of the following, drywall experience, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting & plumbing.

Demonstrated ability to work in cooperation with team members, staff, and customers.

Able to read, write, and speak English
