Job Title: A/R Data Specialist
Summary:
The A/R Data Specialist works in close relationship with the Sales, Accounting, and Transportation teams in order to ensure accurate billing to our customers. The A/R Data Specialist is detail orientated and deadline driven in order to support the companies within Cedar Grove.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate a computer terminal to verify & adjust as needed customer data for billing purposes
Daily auditing all work orders submitted by Transportation and Drivers
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Accurately entering in data into the Billing Software (Tower)
Scanning/filing/ and organizing electronic files
Assist in month end closing for Accounts Receivable
Maintain accurate reporting on tonnage and pricing for our customers
Compile reports to supervisor and customers as required
Assist in other relegated duties as assigned
Required Skills:
Operate a Computer Data to enter Data
Proficient skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Generate tonnage reports for Customers
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to complete deadlines in a timely manner.
Strong Customer Service background
Self-Motivated and the ability to shift gears as needed
Previous experience Tower and Routeware is preferred but not necessary
Education/Certification:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
College degree is a plus
Physical Demands:
To successfully perform the essential duties of this position, an individual must be able to sit for more than 7 hours per day, answer and talk on telephone, email, and work with computer system .On occasion lift and carry objects up to 20 pounds.
