Rate of Pay: $21.96-$22.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 11am - 5pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Open and secure Cascade PBS lobby area and keeps the area orderly and free of clutter
Greet and direct station guests and visitors
Handle and route internal and external calls and paging on a multi-line phone system
Refer questions and requests for information to the appropriate departments (e.g. Programming, Customer Service, Engineering, Accounting)
Accept and monitor incoming and outgoing courier deliveries including UPS and FedEx
Assign, distribute and collect ID badges for vendors and guests, as well as tracking temporary use badges
Maintain confidentiality as appropriate
Work closely with other Receptionists to assist team members with parking inquiries and issues as they arise via Cascade PBS’s parking app
Update and maintain Reception page on Cascade PBS internal intranet
Process and prepare outgoing mail
Open, sort, mark as received, and distribute daily incoming mail to internal mailboxes
Inform recipients of incoming packages and maintain staff mailboxes
Monitor station vehicle calendars
Inventory, order, and maintain Admin. event closet, lunchroom and general office supplies
Empty dishwasher each morning
Update and distribute Cascade PBS Phone List
Work closely with on-call to provide training and updates of new protocols, practices, and equipment
Train supplemental staff and other temporary front desk personnel
Staff reception desk during special events as assigned
Collaborate with other team members to foster a positive and productive culture and contribute toward the overall growth of Cascade PBS.

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES
Excellent interpersonal communication skills appropriately tailored to different recipients required
Committed to working with and supporting diverse guests and visitors
Proficient in MS Outlook, working knowledge of MS Office software, commitment to on-going technical skill development as relates to Position
Ability to handle multiple tasks with a positive and professional manner
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or equivalent required
One year of receptionist and/or customer service experience required
One year of experience with multi-line telephone system strongly preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Moderate to heavy physical tasks up to lifting 55 pounds unassisted required
Lifting, stretching, climbing steps, bending and moving office equipment required
Ability to sit and type for long periods of time
Ability to view data on a computer screen for long periods of time
Ability to work some evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call shifts as needed
