Summary/Objective:
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for the marketing and leasing process of multi-family residential
communities throughout the greater Seattle area. The Leasing Consultant will manage both digital and in
person leasing processes and act as a representative of the property owner. Working closely with the
management team, the Leasing Consultant will provide a professional living experience to residents along with
an exceptional asset management experience for clients. The ideal candidate is a personable individual who
thrives in a fast paced environment, is a self starter, and responsible with a flexible schedule-hybrid schedule. This role offers full benefits and quarterly AND annual performance bonuses.
Essential Functions:
1. Provide a professional leasing experience from first contact to move-in
2. Managing incoming prospect leads and market the property effectively through follow ups, answering
questions, conducting tours, and promoting the property
3. Develop a thorough understanding of the properties, markets, and communities they are within to best
support the prospects decision making.
4. Develop creative marketing strategies including outreach marketing plans.
5. Self manage a touring schedule that is efficient and ensures a prompt and seamless touring experience
for the prospect.
6. Maintain a proficient system for lead management and follow up.
7. Manage the entire leasing process including application management, lease generation, and files
administration.
8. Become an expert in your assigned market by regularly monitoring competitive properties and market
trends.
9. Keep all leasing reliant softwares and internal processes updated at all times
10. Additional resident management focused tasks and special projects as assigned
Competencies:
1. 1 year of multi-family leasing experience or 2 years of other sales experience
2. Reliable personal vehicle
3. Excellent customer service and sales skills
4. High School diploma or Equivalent
5. Strong time management abilities
6. Strong basic computer and data entry skills
7. Multi-Family software (Yardi, AppFolio, Rent Cafe, etc) a plus
8. Professional communication skills in person, over the phone, and in written communication
9. Ability to be responsible with a flexible schedule and hybrid work environment
10. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment as well as independently
11. Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time and lift up to 20 lb
12. Professional attitude and appearance
Supervisory Responsibility:
The position does not have direct reports.
Work Environment:
This job operates both in a professional office environment and traveling between multiple properties.
Assigned portfolio will range in building size and distance. This role routinely uses standard office equipment
such as computers, phones, photocopiers.
Physical Demands:
This role is both stationary and active and will require driving, accessing properties, walking, and climbing
stairs.
Position Type & Schedule:
This is a full-time position; 40 hours per week.
Expected schedule is 8 hours per day 5 days per week. There is some flexibility in assigned hours and may
include weekends and evenings.
Travel:
No out of state travel is expected for this position.
Requirements
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 1 year of multi-family leasing experience or 2 years of other sales experience
3. Reliable personal vehicle
4. Experience in customer service.
5. Multi-Family software (Yardi, AppFolio, Rent Cafe, etc) a plus
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office & GSuite
