With growth and sustainability mindset, we are seeking an experienced Facility Manager. Our Facility Manager will be responsible for preserving the good condition of infrastructure of C&B business at the Seattle Fulfillment Center (SFC) and ensure that Facility are safe and well-functioning for the Cutter & Buck Family. The FM will provide leadership in safety, compliance and overall dedication to the SFC and the CB Family.The ideal candidate will be well-organized andable to optimize the use of space, resources and equipment while reducing operating costs with continuous process improvement and drive to productivity for our production and distribution teams. Leadership abilities and phenomenal efficiency will set you apart among our candidate pool. Our Facility Manager will be an effective communicator, proactive and transparent, constantly thinking about prevention. In addition, they will contribute to the culture of collaboration by investing in C&B employees, which improves operations across the organization.The goal is to ensure our business’s home and headquarters is problem-free and safe so that employees can work under the best conditions.ResponsibilitiesPlan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, heat, electricity etc.) and refurbishments of building. Manage vendors who support the function of SFC operations, including but not limited to janitorial, plumbing, electrical, building/landlord relations and equipment repair. Equipment vendors will also include maintenance of conveyor, AutoStore and other automated systems.Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards. Ensure Powered Industrial Truck compliance in addition to OSHA standards.Oversee facility programs:Building Security SystemAccess System, including upgrade, implementation and maintenanceFire System, including maintenance and compliance.CTPAT program management.5S program evaluation, implementation and maintenance.Recycling & waste management program – evolve to Sustainability Program leadership role for SFC.On-site Parking and Commute Transit Reduction (CTR) compliance.Oversee projects to bring building and operational equipment into state, local or appropriate compliance as needed.Manage Employee Safety Committee and ensure inspection remediation is resolved.Responsible for purchasing of all building supplies (office, kitchen, janitorial and miscellaneous) and production supplies. Budget management of appropriate budgets and approval process.Supervise facility staff as assigned andexternal contractors for onsite projects.Available on-call for Emergency situations at the building. Act as C&B’s first responder for issues at the SFC and in contact with appropriate services and organizations in an emergency. Mindset and orientation:Adoption of Cutter & Buck’s Vision.Maintaining a service first, family forward mindset for the growth of the business.Onsite daily to ensure successful operations.Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask, and demonstrate flexibility in a dynamic, fast paced environment.Embrace challenges, learn from criticism, and be willing to see effort as the path to mastery.Work Environment:Reasonable proximity to Renton, Washington is required for mainly onsite work.On site is a professional office environment as our Headquarters and a warehouse environment; business-casual dress.Requirements and skillsProven experience as Facility Manager or relevant position for minimum of 4 years.Well-versed in production/warehouse or distribution operations and facility management best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skills across email and in person.Excellent organizational and leadership skillsGood analytical/critical thinkingBSc/BA in facility management, engineering, business administration or relevant fieldDaily onsite schedule is required for this position.Our Workplace: Employees shall work in a non-hostile work environment.
