Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and lead group classes and private training sessions focused on obedience, behavior modification, and agility.
Conduct assessments to create tailored training plans based on each dog’s needs, personality, and behavior.
Supervise and mentor junior trainers, ensuring consistency in training methods and client satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with dog owners, providing clear guidance and post-training tips to reinforce behavior.
Ensure safety protocols are strictly followed during training sessions.
Collaborate with the management team to enhance training programs and services.
Maintain detailed records of training progress, behavior assessments, and client communications.
Promote positive reinforcement training techniques aligned with Goodwoof’s mission and values.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a professional dog trainer.
Certification from a recognized training organization (e.g., CPDT-KA, KPA, or similar).
Expertise in various training techniques, including positive reinforcement, behavior modification, and agility.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust with clients and dogs alike.
Ability to handle multiple dogs of varying sizes and temperaments confidently and safely.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Passion for dogs and dedication to improving their well-being.
