Pacific Antiques Mall in Tacoma is looking for a friendly, professional Sales Associate to join our team. If you’ve worked in a department store (Macy’s, Nordstrom, etc.) and love helping customers find just the right item, we’d love to meet you.
About Us
Pacific Antiques Mall is a large, multi-vendor antiques and vintage mall open 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM daily. We offer everything from true antiques to mid-century modern and unique collectibles. Our goal: warm, attentive service and a fun, treasure-hunt experience for every guest.
Position: Sales Associate / Floor Team Member
Location: Tacoma, WA 98444
Hours: Between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, including some weekends and holidays (schedule to be discussed)
What You’ll Do
Greet customers warmly and offer assistance on the sales floor
Provide department-store–level service: answering questions, suggesting items, and guiding customers to specific booths
Process sales at the register quickly and accurately
Assist with opening/closing tasks (tidying, restocking, light cleaning)
Help manage locked display cases (getting items out safely, handling with care)
Communicate with vendors and team members in a professional, respectful manner
Learn our layout and inventory categories so you can confidently direct customers
What We’re Looking For
Department store experience highly preferred
Examples: Macy’s, Nordstrom, Kohl’s, JCPenney, Dillard’s, etc.
Experience in customer service, sales, or cashier roles is a plus
Strong customer-service skills: friendly, patient, and attentive
Comfortable on your feet and walking the floor for most of your shift
Reliable, on time, and able to work a consistent schedule
Able to work collaboratively in a small team environment
Interest in antiques, vintage, or décor is a big bonus (but not required)
Schedule & Compensation
Part-time or full-time options available
Shifts will fall between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM, including at least one weekend day
Competitive hourly pay based on experience
