Rockin Ruby’s Records is looking to add an Assistant Manager to our Poulsbo location.
You’ll be part of a growing team of music professionals determined to bring joy to the communities we serve!
The perfect candidate will have the following characteristics and experience:
- [ ] You can be a librarian, bartender and a DJ all at the same time. You need to be friendly, easy to talk to, and interesting, while simultaneously being able to organize tiny details every single day, and keep the room light and happy, creating a fun shopping atmosphere.
- [ ] You Are 18 years of age or more (we will serve beer soon)
- [ ] You have previous retail management experience. (Mandatory)
- [ ] You love music, you have your favorites, sure, but you aren’t a music snob, you love all music.
- [ ] You are a self starter. You think of things to make your world better, and more efficient, and implement them. You also understand that a business needs to keep the doors open in order to remain a part of the communities we hold dear.
- [ ] You’re confident, but not cocky, and you not only love to learn new things, but you also have a strong sense of purpose and want to grow.
Hours are somewhat flexible at hire, but weekends are mandatory, hours will be set weekly once agreed upon. 25-32 hours per week, possibly more.
You must be able to stand for extended periods of time, be able to carry/lift 50 lbs, as well be reliable and well groomed. The best candidate for this managerial position will possess a professional, friendly attitude, with great customer service and organizational skills, take pride in the cleanliness of their appearance, and love music. Did we mention that yet?
Pay is $22.50 per hour, plus company perks like store discounts, paid sick leave and an employee break room stocked with goodies.
