OnCal a leading company that values quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction is seeking calibration/customer service technicians for mobile on-site calibration services.
OnCal is a regional provider of pipette calibration and testing services for healthcare and biotech laboratories. We are looking for a customer service/calibration technician to join our team and help us deliver accurate, reliable, and compliant results to our clients. As a calibration technician, you will be responsible for:
Calibrating and maintaining instruments and equipment according to standards and specifications
Troubleshooting and repairing any issues or malfunctions with the instruments and equipment
Documenting and reporting the calibration results and procedures
Following the safety and quality policies and procedures of the company
To be eligible for this position, you must have:
A high school diploma or equivalent
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and precision
Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
A reliable car with trunk space for equipment transport
Ability to learn procedures and to use a computer for communication, training, and record tracking
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
Ability to wear safety and protective gear including lab coat, safety glasses, gloves
Ability to work with the physical demands of the position which include:
1. Standing/walking for several hours at a time
2. Carry, lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds regularly
3. Climbing stairwells several times a day
4. Bending several times a day
5. Repetitive use of arms/wrists/hands while setting up equipment and processing
