Pier 57 (Miners Landing) on the historic Seattle Waterfront is expanding their security deployment and is looking for qualified applicants.

Must have 24/7 365 availability
Experienced guards are a plus. Clean background check required.
Location: Pier 57
Multiple full and part time positions.
Appointment: Positions have set schedules but flexibility is still needed.
Position Description
Assist with basic security on property by providing foot patrols, crowd control and access denial. Respond to observations and/or complaints of criminal activity and complete related written reports. Respond to property fire and burglar alarms. Contribute to property safety by providing cash escorts and various crime prevention measures. Interact professionally and efficiently with Seattle Police and Fire personnel.
Responsibilities:
Perform continuous foot patrols while maintaining situational awareness
Respond to criminal activity (or to reports of) and to medical needs of the property
Complete Daily Activity Reports and written Incident Reports as necessary/directed
Communicate effectively with two-way radio
Participate in routine shift duties including unlocking and locking of buildings
Provide safety escort service on foot for employees and guests
Complete special assignments as directed
Qualifications:
Work experience in security services, military or law enforcement. Equivalent combination of experience and education considered.
Washington state driver's license or I.D.
Ability to work independently, and confront others in a professional and polite manner
Physically capable to run and defend self and/or others
Must be able to carry/drag heavy objects
Frequently lifting/carrying up to (but not limited)1-10 pounds
Being exposed to wet/humid conditions and changing temperatures for extended periods
Must respond quickly and accurately
Must have ability to be effective on a grave yard shift
Must use property resources to find creative solutions to problems
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
Compensation and Benefits:
The pay rate for this position is $25/HR.
This position is non-exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
