Job Description
Seattle Based Security is hiring Unarmed Security Guards for front desk assignments at long-term housing sites for individuals experiencing systemic housing instability. Help us create safe, stable environments for community.
This role combines fixed post duties with active patrol responsibilities. Guards are responsible for controlling access, documenting activity, and providing on-site safety and security for residents.
This is an Independent Contractor position with full-time, part-time, and on-call opportunities. Consistent performance and alignment with company values may lead to long-term opportunities.

Weekdays and Weekends
Key Responsibilities
Maintain a steady and professional security presence at the front desk
Screen and log all visitors, service providers, and guests
Conduct patrols and respond to safety concerns as needed
Complete daily activity logs and incident reports
Maintain situational awareness and follow de-escalation procedures
Follow detailed site-specific post orders and communication protocols
Requirements
Valid WA State Unarmed Guard Card (or ability to obtain)
CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
Strong observational and communication skills
Dependable, self-directed, and alert while on duty
Must remain drug- and alcohol-free while on duty (safety-sensitive position)
Must pass a background check
