About
Barn2Door is a Seattle-based food+tech startup that helps local farms sell direct to chefs through all digital channels, including web, social and mobile. We believe it should be as easy for chefs to order local food from farmers as it is to use Uber.

Overview
In this role as Farm Account Manager, you'll be responsible for prospecting, targeting and closing new customers that are ideally-suited for Barn2Door's mobile-first solutions. You'll be responsible for acquiring farms in designated territories by initiating contact with prospects, creating proposals, delivering product demonstrations, and resolving objections. With your pulse on the market, you'll be expected to provide feedback internally to the Marketing and Product teams (about opportunities and challenges). You should be a "hunter", comfortable and articulate as a presenter, accountable to ongoing metrics for success, and eager to become fluent in the local food scene.

Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment
You Have:
Desire to pursue relationships with farmers, promote access to local food
Fluency in the technology field, preferably online software / solutions (SaaS)
Interest to work in a startup environment, comfortable in ambiguous situations
The ability to work independently
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Preferred farm food or farming domain knowledge
You Will:
Build a pipeline of prospects and manage the sales stages from initiate to close
Generate a list of prospective farms through research, cold-calling, internet and professional networking
Meet and exceed farm revenue goals and overall objectives
Educate prospects about Barn2Door's solutions through presentations and demonstrations
Clearly articulate Barn2Door's value proposition and return on investment
Training
An entry-level Farm Account Manager will require training and domain knowledge to effectively communicate the nuances of the Barn2Door solution and to field questions on your feet. Your training will include product orientation, messaging, role-playing, objection handling, and ongoing self-critiques of customer calls and meetings. Training will prepare you with requisite knowledge to:
Give you deep understanding of the Barn2Door solution
Answer FAQs regarding core product features and functions
Engage in an authentic and meaningful conversation with prospects
Showcase your work habits, attention to detail, attitude and initiative
Help move the business forward
Commitment:
Seeking full-time employee
Base salary of $24k, with $32k in commissions - no cap
On-Target Earning of $56k target (all reps on target)
Hip startup office environment in lower Fremont / Wallingford (near Evo / Joule)
For new Farm Account Managers, we are prepared to invest in a 3-month training and onboarding program to inculcate you into all things Barn2Door. The goal is help you be adequately prepared, informed and practiced, so that we feel confident putting you in front of potential Barn2Door customers. During the 3-month training period, Barn2Door will subsidize your training with a stipend and ramp your sales commissions. Your sales commission is uncapped with accelerators (to promote outstanding performance).
