I need help at:
Columbia City farmers market from 2:30 pm-7:30pm every Wednesday through 10/9
University District farmers market from 8:30am-2:30pm every Saturday
International District Night Market Saturday 9/21 from 12:30pm-8:30pm
Tilth Alliance Farm Fest @ Rainer Beach Urban Farm & Wetland Saturday 9/21 930am-330pm
We have pop ups through out the year and if you are available you would get first dibs on those dates as well!
The job includes:
- Taking orders from customers with our POS, venmo, or cash
- Filling out order sheets, taping them to a tog o box or tray (customers choice) to give to the cook to fry the order up. Filling order sheet is quantity of lumpia, quantity of sauce, if the order was venmo or cash, and customer name (so cook, probably me, can call it out when it's ready).
- Educating customers on our lumpia and the types we have. We have a monthly special so you will need to be comfortable with a changing menu
- Being comfortable under pressure, lines tend to build up for our booth.
- As a customer facing associate be an ambassador for Loumpia. Our brand is friendly, courteous, funny, and hungry! We don't take ourselves to seriously, at least not as seriously as our lumpia!
- Helping to setup and take down the booth. Which includes but is not limited to, packing booth things in boxes, folding the folding tables, helping to fold the 10x10 canopy up or down, putting up the menu, getting the POS ready, wiping down the tables, putting up banner and or table cloth.
- troubleshooting the POS if it freaks out
- communicating with me or other booth staff for breaks, issues, etc.
- If you're working with only me, the owner, all the tips are yours. If you with other booth staff any tips are split with the other staff.
- Free lumpia at beginning or end of shift
