We are seeking a full-time Retail Supervisor to join the TOM BIHN team, in our newly acquired retail space at the Bellevue Square Mall. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable demeanor, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a retail setting. In this role, the Retail Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, managing staff, maintaining inventory levels, and driving sales. This role involves supervising and coordinating activities of retail sales workers to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.This position requires flexible availability including; mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Handle customer inquiries and complaints efficiently and professionally.

Train staff on best practices in customer service.

Handling incoming customer emails and calls.

Staff Management:

Supervise and guide retail staff, including cashiers and sales associates.

Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new employees.

Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.

Schedule shifts and manage time-off requests.

Sales and Inventory:

Monitor sales performance and provide input to achieve sales targets.

Ensure proper stocking and organization of merchandise.

Conduct inventory counts and manage inventory levels.

Implement merchandising strategies to maximize sales.

Store Operations:

Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.

Oversee opening and closing procedures.

Maintain store security and loss prevention measures.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Training and Development:

Provide ongoing training and development for staff.

Keep staff updated on new products, promotions, and policies.

Foster a positive and motivating work environment.

Reporting and Communication:

Prepare and submit regular reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance.

Communicate effectively with the Store Manager (Kat) and other departments.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent

Proven retail management experience of 2+ years preferred

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

Strong leadership skills

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

Availability to work flexible hours mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to stand for extended periods

Benefits:

Competitive hourly pay ranges from $20.00 - $24.00

Anticipate weekly work hours from morning to evening from 32 up to 40+ hours during peak periods
