We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Route Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving a designated route to deliver products, build relationships with customers, and promote sales through effective upselling techniques. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to manage their time efficiently while ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
Drive a company vehicle along a designated route to deliver products to customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities for upselling additional products.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
Perform some lifting of products as needed during deliveries.
Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory levels, and customer interactions.
Utilize math skills to manage cash transactions and ensure accurate billing.
Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Qualifications
Proven experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Ability to drive safely and responsibly while adhering to all traffic laws.
Experience in route driving is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Grocery experience, working with perishable items is helpful.
Clean driving record – be prepared to provide a driving abstract.
