We're looking for a Software Development Engineer who combines superb technical, analytical, and operational capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively. This person must be comfortable working with a team of top-notch developers and collaborating with our systems and hardware engineering teams. We're looking for someone who innovates, and loves solving hard problems! You will work hard, have fun, and of course, make history!

Export Control License
This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Placement is contingent on Amazon's ability to apply for and obtain an export control license on your behalf.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
  • 1+ years of experience in software development


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in Python and C
  • Experience working on aerospace products or projects
  • Experience developing software for automated test equipment in production
  • Experience developing software interfaces for testing over LAN, CAN, GPIB or similar
  • Proficiency with common test equipment such as power supplies, DMM and oscilloscopes
  • Working knowledge of testing methodologies for electro-mechanical subsystems
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience working with ambiguity
