This position will provide the opportunity to develop from chainman to instrument man and then party chief. CWLS has developed field staff into drafting and LSIT/PLS roles. The right candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow. This position will train you in all aspects of surveying including but not limited to boundary, topography, ALTA, monitoring, and construction staking. We deploy single man field crews equipped with state-of-the-art Leica equipment to perform field work. The person we hire for this role will have the opportunity to learn how to operate all equipment, including scanning and other new technologies.

Support Party Chief and surveyors in field data collection
Construction Staking and field support for builder clients
Data upload/download
Equipment maintenance
Reviewing maps
Interacting with multiple project managers, site superintendents, field and office technicians and clients

Qualifications
previous field survey experience a plus
Valid Washington State driver’s license
Physically fit and able to lift and carry 30 pounds
Non-smoking
