Olympia based electrical contractor seeking observant, dependable, and punctual 01 and 02 journeyman Electricians. Duties include but are not limited to; communicating with clients and performing one's own inspections to diagnose and tend to each task. Complete scope of work on planned jobs on time and on budget. You should be comfortable performing these and related undertakings with minimal to no supervision.

Journeyman Electrician Responsibilities:
-Installing electrical systems in new constructions or upgrading existing systems.
-Performing maintenance and repairs on existing electrical systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely. This includes troubleshooting issues, replacing faulty components, and ensuring compliance with safety codes.
-Testing electrical systems and components to ensure they work correctly. Conducting inspections to identify any potential problems or code violations.
-Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to understand the layout of electrical systems and to determine the placement of wiring and equipment.
-Ensuring all electrical work complies with NEC and regulations. Keeping up to date with any changes in these codes.
-Communicating with clients to understand their electrical needs and to explain the work that will be done. Providing estimates and explaining the cost of labor and materials.
-Following all safety protocols to protect themselves and others from electrical hazards.
-Guiding and supervising apprentices or less experienced electricians. Providing training and ensuring that apprentices are following proper procedures.
-Must be equipped with and carry all necessary tools to perform scheduled jobs.
-Identifying and solving electrical problems efficiently and effectively. This requires a good understanding of electrical systems and the ability to think critically.
Journeyman Electrician Requirements:
-Demonstrate excellent customer service upon any interaction with clients or potential clients.
-Completion of a relevant apprenticeship.
-WA state journeyman card and driver’s license with clean driving record.
-Good arithmetic skills.
-Excellent critical thinking skills.
-Observant and thorough.
-An active listener with top-notch verbal and written communication skills.
-Physically fit and capable of carrying up to 50 pounds.
-Ability to work in constricted areas.
-Work well alone and in a team.
