Busy North Seattle auto repair shop looking for a motivated individual to join our team. The position available is for a shop helper. Candidates must be 18 years of age, and have a valid Washington state driver’s license.
This position is part time, 15-25 hours per week.
List of duties
1. Keep loaner cars clean, top up loaner car fluids, check tire pressures
2. Run for parts / return parts
3. Empty garbage’s (shop, front office, all bathrooms, lunchroom, upstairs office)
4. Empty all recycle bins
5. Sweep/Mop garage floors
6. Empty oil drains
7. Organize shop
8. Keep cars on lot organized
9. Park cars off lot as needed and track parking times
10. Clean debris on Lot
11. Weed Lot
12. Clean worktables (Do not throw away anything not authorized by TECH!)
13. Clean up after technician when they are done with a bay
14. Pressure wash shop mats
15. Vacuum customer cars as needed
16. Help technician’s when needed
17. File closed repair orders
18. Clean graffiti
19. Empty scrap metal shelf
20. Assist with advertising materials
21. Shuttle customers
22. Clean gutters
23. Clean night drop kiosk and keep stocked with envelopes and pens
24. Other miscellaneous tasks as needed
