Some diagnostic experience required but mechanical repair experience a must. You must have tools (not all specialty tools required) and be able to do at the very minimum basic vehicle repair such as oil changes, brakes, steering, suspension, starters, alternators, gasket and seal repair. Exhaust technician opening with fabrication and welding experience. Additional experience such as timing belts, and advanced diagnostics with have greater pay. Hourly wage depends on experience. If you are eager to learn, we will teach you but your wage would be lower than if you have lots of experience and tools.
