Automotive Technician/Mechanic
Job Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust,
primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and
alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
All technicians are required to perform oil changes and flat repairs.
Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to
non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers on an
as-required basis.
Continuously learn new technical information in formal training sessions
in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
Keep store management aware of repair problems as they occur.
Maintain an organized neat and safe bay.
Possess and maintain a clean driver's license and driving record.
Qualifications
At least 1-2 years of strong automotive diagnosis, problem-solving, and
repair experience. (training possible for pre-qualified candidates)
A tech school degree or certification is a plus but not required.
Candidate needs to possess the ability to work honestly and efficiently
in a team environment.
Availability to work Monday-Saturday on a 4/10 rotating schedule that
changes every three weeks.
Must be 18 years or older
A driver's license is required.
Must have own tools
Compensation and Benefits
Flag Rate pay $30-45+ per hour based on qualifications
Medical, Dental, Vision, and AD&D available after 60 days
Vacation and Sick pay
Rotating 4/10 schedule with 5 day breaks every three weeks
