We are a local, award-winning residential remodeling and custom homes company looking for a strong Framer with 5+ years of experience to join our company based in Olympia and doing projects all over Thurston County. We are looking for a dynamic, self-starter with strong communication skills; both written and verbal.
Our ideal candidate is someone who has production framing experience, but is looking to also transition and learn remodel carpentry and must possess the following abilities:
Able to read blueprints.
Able to lay out walls, lay out roofs, cut in valley.
Able to complete a project from foundation through framing.
Work within a team setting to complete projects.
Ability to create and perform material take offs.
5+ years of framing experience.
Skills and Tools Required:
Trade school preferred but not required.
5+ years of framing carpentry experience.
Complete expanded inventory of hand & basic power tools.
Knowledge of basic building code requirements.
Knowledge of basic mechanical requirements.
EXCELLENT communication skills.
Able to lift & carry up to 50 lbs. up stairs/ladders.
Reliable transportation to get to jobsites within Thurston County.
