Key responsibilities
Project oversight: Ensure the project is completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Safety and compliance: Enforce health and safety regulations, maintain a safe work environment, and comply with legal codes and building codes.
Team management: Supervise and manage on-site employees, subcontractors, and vendors. This includes training, evaluating performance, and resolving conflicts.
Site coordination: Coordinate with project managers, clients. Serve as the main point of contact for on-site problem-solving.
Resource management: Manage materials, equipment, and labor to ensure efficiency and smooth operation.
Blueprint and document analysis: Interpret blueprints, specifications, and other construction documents to ensure the project adheres to the design and safety requirements.
Problem-solving: Identify and address issues that arise, such as delays or equipment problems, and recommend improvements to site procedures.
Required qualifications and skills
Proven experience in the construction industry. Strong leadership, communication, and
interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
Knowledge of civil construction procedures, building codes, and safety regulations.
Physical stamina and the ability to work outdoors in various conditions.
