We’re looking for an experienced Digital Templater to join a growing fabrication and installation team. This is a direct employee role (no subcontractors). The successful candidate will travel to residential and commercial job sites to create accurate digital templates for countertops and vertical surfaces.
Key Responsibilities
Travel to job sites to create precise digital templates for countertops, full-height backsplashes, fireplace surrounds, shower walls, and wall cladding/architectural panels.
Record all measurements, polished edge details, cutouts, and project-specific notes required for fabrication.
Advise clients onsite about necessary adjustments and clearly communicate site challenges and scope changes to sales, operations, and production teams.
Coordinate with project managers and installers to ensure smooth handoffs from template to fabrication and installation.
Maintain professional onsite conduct and uphold quality, safety, and customer service standards.
Overnight stays may be required for jobs outside the immediate area.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years’ experience in digital templating using systems such as LT-55, Proliner, E-Template, or equivalent.
Experience templating vertical surfaces or architectural panel systems strongly preferred.
Background in custom millwork or commercial architectural paneling is a plus.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Alphacam, or comparable CAD software required.
Able to read blueprints and jobsite drawings.
Strong attention to detail, intermediate math skills, excellent time management and communication.
Able to work independently and as part of a fast-paced team.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license required. Reliable transportation to the regional operations hub is required.

Compensation & Schedule
Pay: $30–$50 / hour (DOE)
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Experience
5 years digital templating required.
5 years construction or millwork experience preferred.
