Job Description: As an Automotive Technician at Dave's valley auto clinic, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles with efficiency and accuracy. From routine maintenance to complex mechanical and electrical issues, you'll utilize your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure every vehicle that leaves our shop is in peak condition. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Performing diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues.
Conducting courtesy inspections, routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Repairing and replacing parts, components, and systems (e.g., brakes, suspension, HVAC).
Communicating effectively with service advisors to explain repairs and recommendations.
Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic.
Necessary tools
Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostic equipment and tools.
Ability to interpret technical manuals and repair instructions.
ASE certification preferred but no required for consideration
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
