Family owned business looking to hire an experienced full time diesel mechanic.
Some duties include, but are not limited to:
PMI new model Volvo Diesel's
PMI Container chassis
PMI Forklifts
Welding (preferred, not required)
Change tires (preferred, not required)
Keep written records of maintenance and materials purchased
Drive forklift to (un)load in/out bound trucks (preferred, not required)
The ideal candidate would have a positive and helpful attitude. The ability to self-manage and efficiently prioritize their duties to minimize the down time of equipment is essential. We are looking for someone with at least 2 years experience working with diesel equipment, container chassis and/or forklifts. We do have minimal tools on hand and can purchase more as needed, but prefer they bring their own.
We are looking for someone to work Monday - Friday, with some weekend work required on occasion. Hours are flexible from 530 am - 5pm, depending on equipment needs.
