Rule Garage in Lakewood Washington is looking for an experienced fabricator & mechanic to work with us on our current and future projects.
At Rule Garage we strictly work on vintage and significant specialty vehicles, very rarely do we work on daily drivers unless they fit into the prior categories. Our customer cars are an even split between domestic and imports.
At any given time we have multiple full restorations in process, with shorter term maintenance projects for existing clients happening concurrently.
Prior experience in vintage car maintenance, repair and restoration is required. Our restorations are beyond purchasing and bolting on parts, every system is studied in detail and improved upon as needed before installation. Reliability and drivability is paramount to us, with performance and looks closely following. This will include custom chassis and suspension design and modifications, driver ergonomics work, electrical system design and construction, overall vehicle tuning and setup, etc.
We do not sew upholstery or spray paint at Rule Garage, expect to be involved in every other aspect of car construction.
We are open to full or part time for this position, compensation level depending on experience ($30-45/hr).
