Our ideal candidate has experience as a lead carpenter / finish carpenter with knowledge of all phases of construction, including competency in foundation to finish work.
Responsibilities include:
This is a bags-on position. In addition, you must be a Team Player - able to manage subcontractors and provide oversight for all laborers and carpenters, ensuring the quality of their workmanship.
Work independently to execute residential remodeling projects with the utmost attention to detail and safety. You are a self-starter that can work with little oversite to plan and timely execute the work.
You are a highly skilled, motivated, organized, and diligent team player with a proven experience in construction. Successful at developing/maintaining good client/coworker relationships and have a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
You work with your own hand tools for demolition, framing, and finish carpentry.
Maintain high quality projects, safe work habits with production in mind.
Have 5-10 years of experience as a finish carpenter, who can read blueprints/specifications, and estimate supplies needed to complete the work assigned.
Work full time, from 7am – 4pm Monday through Friday.
Have your own reliable vehicle, possess a current WA State driver’s license with a good driving record. Able to pick up supplies/materials when needed.
Basic math skills, able to read and write and communicate written information when required.
Daily work responsibilities may include:
Leading a crew.
Demo of existing materials, appliances and fixtures.
Measuring jobs, ordering and pick up of supplies/materials.
Finish carpentry installation of cabinets, doors, base and casing and light framing.
Light framing
Small drywall repairs, taping and texturing. Painting, caulking and sealing of minor repairs.
Pay - $35-$45 DOE
