Primary responsibilities
Knowledge of DOT Commercial Vehicle Regulations
Handle emergency breakdowns, and provide quick effective solutions to get the vehicle, and driver out of dangerous
locations, and back on the road as soon as possible.
Establish, and maintain relationships with outside vendors. Be able to negotiate service and price when needed.
Identifies, and develops cost saving strategies in both the purchase and usage of parts, supplies, and products.
Installation, and maintenance of vehicle camera systems.
Maintaining Surveillance camera systems on company properties. Reviewing surveillance footage of Company
properties when necessary.
Spec, purchase, and licensing of new trucks, and equipment as directed by Manager.
Handle the advertisement, sale, and disposal of retired vehicles, and equipment as directed by Manager.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities…
Possesses the ability to perform minor to intermediate fabrication including welding, reinforcing, cutting, shaping,
building, and customizing using various metals, woods, and plastics.
Possesses knowledge of LPG forklift diagnosis, and repair.
Possesses knowledge of electric pallet truck diagnosis, and repair.
Possesses knowledge of SCR diesel emission systems, and direct drivers on proper usage.
Possesses knowledge of liftgate diagnosis & repair.
Able to perform minor body work, and collision damage repairs.
Possesses basic computer knowledge, and proficiency with typing, and navigating common programs such as
Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
