Responsibilities:Perform a broad range of light remodeling tasks, confidently , without supervision, while maintaining Gaspar's quality and customer service standards.
Run multiple jobs at the same time
Demonstrate craftsman carpentry skills in high end homes
develop creative solutions when confronted by unique problems.
Perform various tasks from framing and finish carpentry skills in high end homes
Develop creative solutions when confronted by unique problems.
Perform various tasks from framing and finish carpentry , drywall, painting, rot/leak detection repair , electrical and plumbing fixture replacements, minor tile repair, window and door insulation.
Qualifications:
A strong and thorough understanding of the industry and home systems.
Must have at least 5 years experience in residential remodeling and 10 years in the trades.
Ability to estimate small jobs.
Ability to instruct others.
An ability to work independently and make decisions.
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
Must have the necessary power and hand tools to perform basic home maintenance.
Able to pass drug test and background check.
Basic administrative , computer, and math skills to accuratley prepare invoices and track paperwork.
Strength , balance and agility sufficient to work at gutter -level heights, dig postholes, and move around in confined spaces such as attics and crawlspaces.
A lively, fun and outgoing demeanor with sales skills.
Must live within 15 miles of Seattle.
Experience with Builder Trend is a plus.
