Strickland and Sons Excavation is looking for a experienced diesel mechanic to join our team
We need someone who has at least 3 years proven experience working on heavy equipment.
Requirements:
- Experience maintaining and repairing diesel trucks, backhoes, excavators, rollers, bull dozers, front wheel loaders and misc. small equipment.
- Knowledge in hydraulics, electrical, engines, transmissions, differentials, suspensions, air brakes etc.
- Experience fabricating and welding.
- Must be able to manage day to day tasks.
- Must be self motivated and proactive. If you need hands on management this position isn't for you.
- 3+ years of experience as a diesel/heavy equipment mechanic.
- Ability to lift at least 50 lbs. -Class "A" CDL with endorsement preferred but not required.
Qualified hiring would be immediate, pay is every other week. Wage is based on experience, between $50-$65/hr. Able to bring the truck home. Medical, dental and vision and retirement plan.
