HVAC Service Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Service Manager to join our team. The Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of our service department, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflow. Our current service manager of 25 years is retiring and whoever fills his role will have big shoes to fill. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who is ready to take the next step in their HVAC career at a great company with a long history, and bright future.

Duties:

- Manage and lead the (small) service department

- Coordinate service appointments and ensure timely completion of repairs

- Complete warranty submissions timely and accurately

- Upsell additional services and products to customers as needed (low sales pressure environment)

- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for parts as needed

- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner

- Implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in the HVAC industry

- Proficiency in servicing and troubleshooting gas furnaces, electric furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless mini-splits. Recommended: Fireplace and water heater experience

- Strong customer service skills

- Ability to transmit technical information clearly to customers and team members

- Excellent organizational and communication skills
