HVAC Systems Technician - Technical Support & Start-up

$25–$50+ per hour | Benefits | Growth Opportunities

Are you an HVAC pro who enjoys solving complex problems, working with the latest tech, and helping crews get the job done right the first time? We’re looking for a Tech Services Technician to join our growing team. We will also consider an apprentice who doesn't have any experience for this position so long as they are driven and ready to learn.

You’ll work with smart, motivated people who take pride in quality workmanship. In return, you’ll get competitive pay, solid benefits, and support to keep building your career.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll be part of our Tech Services Department, supporting both field teams and internal operations. You’ll focus on high-impact areas like:

Controls & Automation

Partner with control contractors (Sunbelt, ATS, JB) to keep systems running smoothly.

Work with VRF manufacturer controls, including VPN remote monitoring and user interfaces.

Help integrate wireless thermostats and stay current on new product updates.

Warranty & Quality Assurance

Troubleshoot warranty issues and determine the root cause—equipment, install, or usage.

Reduce repeat callbacks by helping teams catch and fix problems early.

Promote best practices with installers and service techs.

Refrigerant Piping & Start-Up

Share updated piping methods and tools with field crews (e.g., 1" insulation, shark bite fittings).

Enforce safety and proper installation procedures.

Review startup paperwork and track third-party testing and air balancing.

Commissioning & Coordination

Work with engineering to build and carry out commissioning plans.

Ensure commissioning documents are completed and submitted on time.

Confirm warranty timelines and communicate them with service and sales.

What We’re Offering

Hourly Pay: $25–$50+ based on experience

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance

Retirement: 401(k) with company match

Time Off: PTO and paid vacation

Growth: Supportive, fun environment with room to move up

What We’re Looking For

HVAC technical experience (field, controls, commissioning, or service)

Valid driver’s license with a clean record

Strong attention to detail and accountability

Comfortable working independently and with teams

Interested? Let’s Talk.

Send us your resume—or if you don’t have one ready, just tell us about your experience and we’ll follow up.

You’ll be part of a team that values quality, safety, and making things work the right way. If that sounds like your kind of place, we’d love to hear from you.
