Position: Journey Level Sign Installer
Northwest Sign & Design has an opening for a journey level sign installation/service expert.
Responsibilities:
Completing the installation and service of all types of signage using a variety of equipment including bucket trucks, ladders, and lifts, efficiently and safely.
Operate and drive company equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
Must be able to complete labor-intensive work repeatedly, including loading signage onto trucks, lifting up to 75 lbs., climbing ladders, digging footings, etc.
Managing truck inventory to ensure it is properly stocked before leaving the shop.
Performing site surveys.
Reading and working to plans, communicating any discrepancies to the appropriate person.
Must be able to work well under pressure, deal with unforeseen obstacles, and solve problems as they arise.
Qualifications:
Experience in the installation and service of electrical and non-electrical signage.
Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
Familiarity with electrical equipment and hand tools.
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Must be able to pass a drug test.
Have general construction knowledge.
Have a clean driving record.
Have a CDL class B or greater.
Valid crane and rigging certification are preferred.
04 Electrical license or greater is required.
Environment and/or Physical Factors:
Working inside and outdoors in all weather conditions.
Comfortable working at heights on ladders, rooftops, and in lift buckets.
Lifting up to 75lbs, bending, standing, and climbing.
May on occasion be required to drive long distances.
Occasional weekend, nighttime, and out of town/overnight work is required.
