Currently we are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrical Union Sign Installer (Installer) to join our skilled team. This role is responsible for the safe and professional installation of illuminated and non-illuminated signage on-site at client locations across the Puget Sound region. The position will report directly to the assigned job site or be dispatched from Tukwila, Washington.
The position requires a detail-oriented individual who is adaptable and mechanically inclined. Previous sign installation experience is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Install a variety of electrical and non-electrical signage, including channel letters, monuments, pylon signs, and digital displays
Read and interpret CAD drawings, shop drawings, and installation instructions
Operate cranes, bucket trucks, and power tools safely and efficiently
Ensure compliance with safety standards, electrical codes, and company policies
Troubleshoot and repair signs as needed
Coordinate with project managers, fabrication team, and clients on-site
Maintain accurate daily reports and communicate job progress
Required Qualifications:
Active Washington State Journeyman 04 Electrical License
Current membership in IBEW Local #46 or willingness to join upon hire
Valid Washington State driver’s license and clean driving record. Class B SDL preferred
Field certification for welding or a willingness to get one
Comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments
Strong commitment to job site safety and craftsmanship
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM -2:30 PM (varies by job site; overtime may be required, and the Installer should expect to work nights, early mornings, and/or weekends when required).
Wage Range:
$43.47 - $48.30 per hour, in accordance with the IBEW Local 46 collective bargaining agreement and journeyman scale.

Working Conditions:
Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
Use of ladders, lifts, scaffolding, and swing stage
Frequent lifting and moving objects of up to 50 lbs., and occasionally over 50 lbs. with assistance.
