JOB DESCRIPTION:
-Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, drive train components, undercarriage, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumatics, fuel systems, PLCs, heating and air conditioning, and other related items.
-Comprehend, and apply electrical and hydraulic schematics to repair work.
-Disassemble, clean, recondition, inspect, assemble, and test components.
-Demonstrate the ability to use diagnostic equipment and specialty tools to troubleshoot and repair components.
-Make field and emergency repairs as necessary.
-Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and service manuals.
-Perform other related duties as assigned.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS:
-Minimum 4 years of mechanical experience.
-Caterpillar experience preferred.
-Welding and fabricating a plus.
-Must possess a complete set of heavy equipment tools and a roll-a-way toolbox necessary to perform the essential -functions of the position.
-Clean, insurable driving record, CDL a plus and preferred.
-Drug free.
