The Production Field Supervisor assists our Production Manager to enhance our Commercial Landscape Maintenance division; to assist maintaining an efficient application of Company Labor, Materials, & Equipment for our Contract and Special Project / Enhancement production work.
The position will be assisting the Company in multiple ways in meeting or exceeding our customer expectations - the impact of which ultimately fosters better relationships with clients. This comes about by effectively assisting, troubleshooting and getting results accomplished through our front-line crews and others.
Day-to-day, ongoing duties & activities of the position
Help with the daily 'launching' & receiving of crews, verifying equipment checks, help train on horticultural and safety practices.
You may be required to ‘fill in’ for crew member or crew lead absences that may occur from time to time. In other circumstances your help may make the difference in the success of a project or task. You will need to be familiar with each route, scope of work, and the skills to effectively fill in should that be needed.
Should equipment break down or supplies be needed that were missed at ‘launch’ you may be involved with shuttling replacement equipment or supplies to the crew.
Help train Crew Leads in proper landscape maintenance procedures, equipment uses, and day to day job planning. Help conduct and support routine training across crew to assist and maximize productivity, safety, and efficiency; help create a culture of customer service. Help to ensure seasonal horticultural and Company practices are incorporated when appropriate. Stay ahead of the Production Curve!
