We have an immediate opening for a journeyman carpenter with the knowledge and organizational skills to be a lead for the remodel division of our company. 40+ hours/week. $32-42/hr to start, with potentials for raises following a 90 day review.
Our company has continued to grow exponentially over the last 5 years and we intend to continue to do so. We need good, reliable, honest, and hard-working team players to help become more efficient even as higher demands continue. Due to our rapid growth, we are seeking someone who wants to be here for the long haul.
Based out of Puyallup, we typically work within 25 minutes of the office in Pierce County and south King County. Projects include residential renovations/remodels (kitchens/baths, whole home, decks, millwork, etc.), design/build and additions, custom home builds and the occasional commercial tenant improvement. These projects will more often than not be client driven, though we also own some of our own new construction and flips.
Because of the heavy client driven nature of our work, all team members must be punctual and presentable.
Required knowledge, skills, and abilites:
Must have several years of miscellaneous carpentry experience and most or all of the necessary tools
Have a willingness to learn and grow
Positive attitude - self-starter and motivated
Have reliable transportation for yourself and your tools - valid WA state driver's license
Ability to read and understand plans and state codes
Great communication skills
High personal integrity and sense of responsibility
Strong leadership capabilities
Be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test - we are in people's homes and are entrusted with their safety and possessions
Pay will be determined by skills and experience. As mentioned above, there is a 90 day probationary period. Random drug testing applies.
