Schumacher Construction is a small residential remodeling company looking to hire a bags on supervisor. This applicant must have:
- Frame to finish remodel experience with a minimum of 5 years in residential construction as a carpenter
- Experience with all tools, products and installation methods for high-quality builds
- Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A strong work ethic and good attitude
- Ability to assess and manage job site safety
- Ability to manage subcontractors to achieve high quality precise results
- The ability and knowledge to teach those around you
- Full tool setup including hand tools and cordless tools

- Manage multiple jobs at the same time
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
To be successful as a lead carpenter, you’ll need:
- 5+ years of high-end residential remodel carpentry experience
- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
- Ability to line out crew and subcontractors and communicate/maintain Dowbuilt quality standards
- Valid driver’s license and reliable, personal transportation to get to/from work safely and on time. (Appropriate personal vehicle recommended that facilitates transport of essential tools/materials, and capable of accomplishing common job-site related errands and tasks. Company vehicles are not assigned to foremen, although occasional driving of a company vehicle may be required.)
- Ability to follow instructions, take notes and perform work as designated
- Ability to be an active listener, ask for help and suggest solutions
- Demonstrate discretion and treat all proprietary company information as strictly confidential outside, and in some cases within, the company
- Be a team player and foster a positive and constructive attitude environment onsite
- Exhibit good manners, respect for the team, subcontractors and clients

- Working knowledge of layout and install of wall framing, floors and roof systems, stairs, windows, and doors
