On-Call Locksmith
Location: Openings in North Seattle, Tacoma, and Yakima areas
Position Summary:
As an On-Call Locksmith, you will be responsible for providing timely and efficient locksmith services to commercial clients in the designated area. This is a part-time, on-call position that offers flexibility and the opportunity to earn competitive commission-based income.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to service calls in a timely manner, adhering to specified deadlines.
- Perform various locksmith tasks, including:
Lock installation, repair, and replacement
Key cutting and duplication
Rekeying locks
Access control system troubleshooting and repair
- Utilize mobile apps to track work orders, obtain sign-offs, and submit timecards.
- Maintain excellent customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety regulations.
- Wear provided uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
Qualifications:
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to use a Smartphone and familiar with technology
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to diagnose and remedy on the fly
- Resourceful
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Flexibility to accommodate varying schedules, including early morning, late night, and weekend calls
- Experience in locksmithing is a plus but not required
- General handyman or general contracting skills are a plus and generally translate well to the industry
Compensation:
- Commission-based pay
- 1099 Employee Status
- Weekly payroll
