The Low Voltage Wiring Technician is responsible for all onsite delivery, implementation, service and support of wiring needs for our customers. This relates to all low voltage wiring technology, including Category 5e, Category 6, Category 6A, Fiber Optic Cable, Coax Cable, Phone lines, and Multimedia wiring.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Pulling and routing structured low voltage cable in a commercial environment.
Termination of wiring. (Cat 5e/6/6A, Coax, Fiber)
Dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
Implementation and maintenance of structured cabling solutions
Testing and labeling of all wire runs
Troubleshooting connectivity issues
Installing and mounting IP devices that connect into the network (Wireless AP, Cameras, speakers, etc.)
Installing and mounting DAS Antennas
Installing support structures for solutions (Racks, J-Hooks, conduits, etc.)
System documentation to include system reviews and recommendations

Escalate service and project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels
