Painter – Full-Time

Location: Tumwater, Centralia, Olympia & Rochester, WA (I-5 Corridor)

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Hours: 40 hours per week

Compensation: Competitive Pay

Miller Munroe Properties is a well-established property management company overseeing more than 300 residential multifamily units. Our portfolio spans several communities along the I-5 corridor—from Centralia in the south, through Rochester and Tumwater, to our northernmost properties in Olympia.

We’re seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Painter to join our team full-time. This role supports the upkeep and visual appeal of our apartment communities by maintaining and refreshing interior and exterior surfaces.

Position Overview

As an Interior Apartment Painter, you’ll play a key role in preparing rental units for new tenants. Your craftsmanship will help ensure our apartments are move-in ready and visually appealing.

Responsibilities

Prepare apartment interiors by patching holes, sanding surfaces, and applying primer

Apply paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, or sprayers with precision

Deliver clean lines, consistent coverage, and professional finishes

Protect floors, furnishings, and fixtures while maintaining a tidy workspace

Follow safety protocols and use appropriate protective equipment

Communicate with property management regarding timelines and supply needs

Preform drywall repairs and touch-ups

Qualifications

Minimum 5 year of residential or apartment painting experience preferred

Knowledge of paint types, finishes, and application techniques

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship

Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for long periods

Reliable transportation and punctuality

Must be able to pass a drug test
