Carpenter, Tiler, and Finish Remodeling Worker Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter, Tiler, and Finish Remodeling Worker with experience in full kitchen and bathroom remodeling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques, tile installation, and finishing work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct, repair, and install wooden building framing
-Finish remodeling experience including kitchen cabinets and bathroom fixtures.
- Cut, fabricate, and install wooden and other structures according to specifications.
- Assist with residential remodeling projects, including carpentry, roofing, plumbing, masonry, and tile work.
- Layout, installation, repairing, finishing, and maintaining various structures, fixtures, and buildings.
- Consult with PMs and architects, following blueprints and designs to successfully remodel buildings.
- Complete the finishing touches on trim and carpentry work for residential construction projects.
- Handle all prep work: Patching, plastering taping, skimming, sanding, and finishing.
- Carry out all aspects of painting, including spraying, rolling, brushing, and cutting.
- Install kitchen and bathroom fixtures and cabinets.
- Build and set forms for footings, walls, slabs, frames, and finishing exterior walls, roofs, and building decks.
- Frame interior walls, build and install stairs, install drywall, crown molding, doors, and cabinets for kitchens and bathrooms as well as tiling floors, installing wood floors, and carpet.
- Precisely install kitchen and bathroom cabinets and countertops.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a recognized apprenticeship in carpentry or equivalent experience in the field.
- Solid surface, laminate, and metal experience a plus.
- If you are licensed, workers compensation and general liability insurance is a plus.
- Knowledge of advances in the tile industry and an ability to prep, grout, install, and finish tiles.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in finish carpentry/installation.
Skills:
- Hardworking, reliable, and have good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to follow blueprints and physical fitness.
- Construction knowledge and experience with innovative deck design and construction.
- Ability to work with carpenters hand and power tools.
- On a reliable vehicle and have your own tools.
- Able to do daily progress reporting including uploading result of work to the team including pictures.
- Must be able to pass background checks.
