ROOFING SUBCONTRACTOR NEEDED – HIGH-END RESIDENTIAL – CONSISTENT WORK (TACOMA / PIERCE / SOUTH SOUND)
We are an established exterior remodeling company based in the Tacoma area looking for a reliable, professional ROOFING SUBCONTRACTOR (licensed company or established crew) for ongoing residential re-roof projects.
If you run a clean, efficient crew and want consistent, well-organized work with a GC that actually pays on time, this is for you.
WHO WE ARE
- Busy residential remodeling company (roofs, siding, decks, windows, etc.)
- High-volume, higher-end projects in Pierce, King, Thurston, and Kitsap Counties
- Organized jobs, clear scopes, and fast communication
- We are looking for a long-term partner, not one-off help
WHAT WE NEED
- Tear-off and re-roof on primarily steep-slope residential roofs
- Experience with architectural composition/asphalt shingles (GAF or similar)
- Ability to handle sheathing repair, flashing, ventilation, and code-compliant details
Ability to handle low slope roofing options.
BUILDTREND – THIS IS NON-NEGOTIABLE
We run our entire operation on Buildertrend. If you can’t or won’t use Buildertrend, this will NOT be a fit.
You (or your crew lead) MUST have:
- A reliable smartphone with data (required on every job)
- Access to a laptop/tablet for reviewing scopes and documents
- Basic tech skills and a willingness to use apps as part of your daily work
You will be required to:
- Update the Buildertrend app daily
- Check schedules, job addresses, and scope of work in Buildertrend before starting
- Read and follow all notes, details, and updates in Buildertrend
- Upload photos at each stage: tear-off, sheathing, underlayment, flashings, vents, and final completion
We will provide:
- Training on how we use Buildertrend (if needed)
- Clear expectations for what must be documented in the app on every job
Again: Using Buildertrend is mandatory. If your crew is not willing to work inside a system and use the app, please do not respond to this ad.

REQUIREMENTS (NON-NEGOTIABLE)
- Licensed, bonded, and insured.
- Active liability insurance and workers comp (proof of both required)
- Own tools, safety gear, and reliable transportation
- Minimum 5 years of residential roofing experience
- Able to meet schedules and hit agreed start dates and completion dates.
- Quality work with immediate response to callbacks.
COMPENSATION
- Paid per square
- Rates are competitive and designed for professional crews who work efficiently
