We are seeking an experienced, mature, charismatic Estimator / Project Manager who will help manage our organization to the next level of performance and efficiency.
This role of Senior Commercial Estimator / Project Manager will lead and manage field operations for their projects which include Superintendents, Foreman, Journeyman, Apprentices and supporting administrative staff. Responsible for bringing in new customers, providing comprehensive Design Build Electrical Estimates as well as enhancing processes to streamline operations of projects from start to finish. Has budgetary responsibility for their projects. Projects include Multi-Family, Commercial T.I.'s, Churches and Commercial and Industrial Service Work.
Primary Position Requirements:
1. New Business from both existing customer base, as well as new customers that align with our target services
2. Design and coordinate electrical engineering when necessary
3. Estimate - to provide a full Design Build estimate as many of our bid requests to do not have electrical plans
4. Project Manage - ensure on-site electrician lead has all information and material necessary to complete the project in
the most efficient manner. Provide insight on how processes can be improved. Oversee that all field reports and
documentation is completed per requirements
5. Project Documentation need to be well documented and signed off before work is completed
6. Site visits regularly to ensure projects are being completed to our standards to ensure efficiency and maximize
profitability
7. Labor Forecasting - ensure project has the ideal amount of skilled labor on-site to be efficient and yet cost
effective
Attributes of Ideal Candidate:
Skills
Experience with Procore Estimating or AccuBid strongly preferred. Other software BlueBeam, ServiceTitan and Office 365. This individual will excel in verbal and written communication, with a knack for problem solving technical, business or employee issues. Listening and questioning skills to effectively understand customer and employees.
Experience
Licensed 01 Electrician strongly preferred. 5 plus years Electrical Project Management required, Project Management certification, held leadership positions for 10 plus years
