Septic Tank Pumper/ Technician Responsibilities:

Perform regular septic maintenance and inspection of septic tanks, including pumping, cleaning, and assessing the condition of components.

Conduct septic pumping and septic system inspections, diagnose issues, and repairs as needed and recommend appropriate solutions for troubleshooting problems.

Keep accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections performed, providing documentation for clients and regulatory authorities.

Provide guidance and advice to clients on septic system maintenance, offering suggestions for proper usage and measures to extend the lifespan of their systems.

Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in septic system technology to improve knowledge and skills continuously.

Maintain and clean tools and equipment, ensuring they were in good working condition and reporting any maintenance or repair needs to supervisors.

Septic Tank Pumper/Technician Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of septic system components and operation, including all types of tanks, control panels, pumps, filters, and drain fields.

Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair septic system issues efficiently and effectively.

Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and regulatory authorities.

Attention to detail to accurately record maintenance, repair, and inspection activities.

Physical stamina and strength needed to perform manual labor, such as excavating, lifting heavy equipment, and working in outdoor environments.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team, demonstrating self-motivation and time management skills.

Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to assess septic system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.

Required Qualifications:

Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and Random drug testing

O&M Level 1 (Pumper/Technician)

O&M Level 2 (Specialist)

1-year CDL experience

Proven experience in septic system pumping, maintenance, repair.

Knowledge of local and state regulations regarding septic system maintenance.

Ability to operate and maintain equipment and tools related to septic system servicing.

Physical fitness to perform manual labor in outdoor environments and adverse weather conditions.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Willingness to learn and stay updated on industry trends and advancements in septic system technology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour
