Splinter & Slag is a custom wood and metal design-build studio in South Seattle with a focus on commercial and residential furniture and fixtures. Looking to expand our team!
Ideal candidate experience:
- 1+ years of shop fabrication experience (install experience a plus)
- Ability to read plans/drawings
- Adept with all standard wood shop tools
- Understanding of milling essentials, set up, squaring and prepping wood for fabrication.
- Thrive in a collaborative team environment
- Comfortable with a varied work day and adaptable to evolving field conditions
- Available for occasional travel for installs
- Willing to ask questions and open to learning
- Experience with CNC programming and machining a plus
- Experience with Sketchup, CAD, or other drawing software a plus
